  • This oil filter wrench is specifically designed to be compatible with both the original and new versions of the Motorcraft FL-820-S (F1AZ-6731-BD) as well as the Mazda AJTM-14-302 spin on oil filters.
  • Motorcraft filters recently underwent a design change where the drive end of the filters were changed from a 36 flute to 15 flute design. Motivx Tools has created this single tool which is compatible with both designs.
  • This oil filter wrench is proudly made in the USA. It is precision CNC machined from solid aluminum and includes a manufacturers lifetime warranty. It has a 3/8" square drive for ratchet or extension use and a 6 point 24mm hex for use with a socket.
  • This 2 piece patent pending design features a main body machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized grey. The drive portion is machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum for added durability and anodized red.

92.2mm 15/36 Flute Wrench

92.2mm 15/36 Flute Wrench

This wrench fits oil filters with 15/36 flutes and an approximate diameter of 92.2mm.

(Note: Our machining tolerance is within +/- 0.001", but you may get a slightly different measurement from 92.2mm. This is because we have sized the internal diameter of the wrench to account for thermal expansion and the best fit across a variety of filters.

2 Drive Sizes

Our replaceable 7075 aluminum drive hub allows the wrench to be operated using a 3/8" ratchet or with a 24mm / 15/16" socket or wrench.

We recommend using a 24mm socket when removing filters. A 3/8" torque wrench can be used when re-installing the filter to the proper torque spec.

High Quality USA-Sourced Materials

High Quality USA-Sourced Materials

Our patent-pending wrench design uses two types of aluminum sourced in the USA. 6061 aluminum is used for the body (the grey part) and 7075 aluminum for the drive hub (the red part). 7075 aluminum is typically used in the aircraft industry and has properties similar to steel. It will not yield (deform) when the ratchet is rotated, even on the tightest oil filter caps.

Precision CNC-Machined

Precision CNC-Machined

With CNC machining, we can maintain the size of the wrench to a MUCH tighter tolerance than casting or forging. This wrench has an ideal fit when the engine is still warm. It will be slightly loose when used on a cold engine but not enough to slip as we have tested this extensively.
