Oil Filter Removal Tool

This funny looking thing lends credence to the statement; "the right tool for the job". One of the best features is the way the jaws open with a simple turn to the right. Once you set your ratchet to loosen the oil filter is coming off. No matter how stuck it is. This thing is one of the best tools I have ever bought. A must have!

Excellent results, but potential safety hazard

It's the first wrench that let me easily remove the filter from my 2005 Accord. However, the sharpness of its teeth requires that it be treated with respect. I wouldn't set it in a tool box any more than a would a utility knife with the blade sticking out. The special screw in funnel is also very nice.

Works for me.

Because of the tight space that I was working in, I had some initial difficulty getting the wrench on the filter. That being said, once it was on it was a "beast" at gripping the filter for removal. I have since recommended it to others that do their own oil changes.
